Tyler Day Nursery believes that "Hands On" Learning is best! Young children learn through their senses; sight, taste, smell, touch and hearing. Water play, cooking activities, sensory tables and finger painting are some examples of activities provided at the nursery.
The Curriculm Programs provided at TDN are:
Toddlers: FunShine Express, "Buttercups"
Age Two: FunShine Express, "Fireflies"
Age Three to Five: Clifford's Scholastic "Early Childhood Program"
Tyler Day Nursery believes that music is a fundamental component for stimulating brain development. A diverse selection of music plays in the classroom throughout the day including Mozart's lulling Requiem and the electrifying sounds of Mo-Town Kids.

Every day children receive a nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack. TDN follows the nutritional guidelines set forth by the USDA Food & Nutrition Service. This ensures that each child obtains the essential nutrients critical for his/her development.

Studies show that children who engage in regular physical activities display higher levels of self-esteem and greater senses of accomplishment. The children at Tyler Day Nursery participate twice a day in physical activities designed to develop mental, physical and social skills. Playground equipment, tricycles and structured activities help maintain strong bodies and minds.
