"There is always a momentGraduation was held at Tyler Day Nursery during the month of May 2015. Seventeen students were celebrated for completing the preschool curriculum.

And lets the future in."

And lets the future in."
The graduates both entertained and showed off what they had learned while attending Tyler Day Nursery through the power of music by dancing, singing and pantomiming. The night was topped off with a slide presentation of the graduates viewed by the audience of family, friends, staff and board members.
The graduating students wore caps and gowns while walking solemnly down the aisle. The class was presented by the Director of Tyler Day Nursery, Ms. Jaquita Lee, after which the graduates invited the crowd to participate in one last act. Once the ceremony was over, students left the stage with much joy and jubilation!
The Staff and Board of Directors are very proud of this group of students. TDN Board of directors will be tracking theses graduates to the next level of education. How they continue their education following this awesome and crucial beginning is important to the Nursery and its supporters.
New AdditionTyler Day Nursery proudly presents the opening of two new classrooms (an infant and a three year old class) from the start of construction to the finished product. Along with the new addition we made changes to the existing building starting from the front door to the tiles down the hallway. These pictures are worth more than a thousands words!

Fun ActivitiesThroughout the year, the staff at Tyler Day Nursery creatively combine learning experiences with the season! The children experience many lessons through hands on learning.
When the school year begins the staff and Board of Tyler Day Nursery open the doors of the facility to parents and guest. During TDN's open house night each classroom gets to showcase for parents and guest while everyone enjoys the delicious snacks, kids art work and much more.

Easter time is always a joy, but Easter at TDN is priceless. Every year a group of students, teachers, and volunteers from All Saints bless the students at Tyler Day Nursery with an annual Easter Egg Hunt. The students come with hand crafted baskets, tons of candy filled eggs, books to highlight the occasion and some very tasty treats. The All Saints students hide the eggs around the playground, pair up with a TDN child and then off to the races.

Open House/Shot ClinicAt Tyler Day Nursery we don’t always do things the traditional way. Since the summer is so great we tend to extend it and start our school year in September, after Labor Day.
To welcome in the new school year we invite our families to come and join us for our annual Open House. The teachers plan a “team” project for parents and students inside the classroom, and in our gym (for the second year in a row) the Smith County Medical Alliance hosted it’s Be Wise Immunize campaign, vaccinating our students and their families. Oh, and the fun doesn’t stop there. Partnering with the Medical Alliance, Dr. Paul Pitts custom fit each child being immunized with their very own bicycle helmet!
Now that’s the way to kick off the school year, safe and healthy!
